The La Guérite experience
In the heart of the Saillon vineyard: a timeless interlude shaped by the season, the wine, and conviviality.
A place out of time
Perched in the middle of the vines of Cave Corbassière, La Guérite offers an intimate, lively, and authentic setting.
“Vent d’Ange” menu
From May to October, a single menu guided by seasonal produce, grown in the very same land as the vineyard.
Food & wine pairings
A harmony between precise and sincere cuisine, and the wines of Nicolas Cheseaux, designed to answer one another.
Arrival is part of the journey
The experience begins with a walk from Saillon, through the vineyards, to slow down and reconnect with the place.

Why 1814?
It is the parcel number of La Guérite. A matter of plans, maps, and topography. A small summit, not as high as Mont Blanc, but still a summit at the top of a vineyard.

A guérite?
If you are from Valais, you know. If you often go to Valais, you recognize them. Guérites are Valais, just like wine. These modest, functional buildings were used by winegrowers for shelter, to store tools, and sometimes to spend the night. A hut in the vineyards, surrounded by vine stocks with the Rhône plain at your feet. A hut in the vineyards where you can enjoy a starred menu... Magical, ephemeral, unique, authentic. That is the spirit of La Guérite 1814.
